History
1933 Built for Hudson Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Hull. First trawler to be built with cruiser stern.
1935 Bought by Admiralty and converted into a Gem Group anti submarine vessel and named HMT RUBY.
February 09 1942Picked up the only survivor of the trawler MANOR in the channel whilst escorting convoy WP.183.
1944Took part in Operation Neptune, the D-Day landings, as an A/S escort.
April 26 1946Bought from Admiralty for £12,650. Refitted for fishing and renamed CARELLA.
December 13 1948Sold to Hendersons Trawlers for £61,000.
1953Sold to Dinas Steam Trawling Co Ltd.
1959Sold to BISCO and allocated to the West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co. Ltd.
November 19 1959Arrived Troon for breaking.
