Bought by Admiralty and converted into a Gem Group anti submarine vessel and named HMT RUBY. |
| February 09 1942 | Picked up the only survivor of the trawler MANOR in the channel whilst escorting convoy WP.183.

| 1944 | Took part in Operation Neptune, the D-Day landings, as an A/S escort. |
| April 26 1946 | Bought from Admiralty for £12,650. Refitted for fishing and renamed CARELLA.

| December 13 1948 | Sold to Hendersons Trawlers for £61,000.
