Completed for Western Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Bristol (S. M. Price, manager), as Exmouth (BL16). 



August 1914
Requisitioned for war service and converted for minesweeping duties.


February 1915Renamed Exmouth II.  Employed on minesweeping training.
 


1919Returned to owners and reverted to Exmouth (BL16).


1919Sold to Vulcan Steam Trawlers Ltd, Fleetwood (New Docks Steam Trawling Co (Fleetwood) Ltd, managers).



July 26 1919Registered at Fleetwood (FD336).



1920Managers became Taylor & Tomlinson Ltd, Fleetwood.



1927Sold to Ora Trawlers Ltd, Fleetwood (John N. Ward & Son, managers).



March 09 1938Ran aground on Smaull Rocks, west coast of Islay; three crew lost.



March 24 1938Register closed.
